Aim:

• Teach the word of God and touch the heart of the child Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Mattew 18:14.
• Help them to grow spiritually John 21:15(b).
• Discipline them towards Godliness Proverbs 22:6.

Birth of Sunday School:

The first Sunday School was started in First Baptist Church, Philadelphia, USA, in the year 1815. The Sunday School of Faith Baptist Church started in the year 2000 at one of the elders house Late Mr. B. Benjamin Franklin with four committed teachers Mrs. Vani Hemanth, Mrs Sandhya Latha, Ms Jyothsna and Ms Elizabeth. The Sunday School started with just 25-30 kids. Within a few weeks the house was getting packed. This gave us a thought to assemble in David Memorial School where the church gathers for the Sunday Service.

Teachers:

We have committed teachers who not only teach spiritual truth but also train them in social activities and build them wholistically.

Resource:

For spiritual nourishment of the little ones, CEEFI resource material is being used.

Achievements:

In the year 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 the Sunday School kids have participated in various competitions conducted by C.B.N., Scripture Union and CEEFI. In the year 2006, 2008, 2009 the Sunday School kids have won maximum number of prizes and won the overall rolling shield.

V.B.S:

During the summer Vacation Bible School is conducted where in many Christian and non Christian children are attracted with our lively singing and they are taught the word of God and moral lessons.

Picnics:

Children enjoy a lot and have fun when we go for picnics.
